Justin B. Webb Learning Center

The Justin B. Webb Learning Center is a facility designed to help members improve their computer skills in a classroom environment. The facility features twenty computers for student use, with class instructional material projected onto a large screen. All computers have the latest operating system, basic software, and a high-speed Internet connection. New flat-panel monitors were installed in May 2005. Areas of instruction include basic and intermediate computer skills, the Internet and email, and a variety of specific applications. All teachers are volunteer members. There is a small fee for each class, and enrollment requires membership in the PC Club. Photo courtesy of Norm Salzberg.

In addition to classes, the Learning Center also hosts short Special Interest Group (SIG) learning sessions. These sessions focus on a particular subject of interest, do not require any enrollment and are free. SIG sessions are less formal and have open question-and-answer periods. SIG presenters include PC Club members who share their knowledge, experience, and interests, as well as selected outside sources.

The SIGs are held at the Justin Webb Learning Center. They are free of charge and do not require any pre-registration. Room capacity is 54. Please come early to ensure a seat.
