Picasa
Picasa is a digital photo management, editing, and viewing application. It is a basic photo application (less sophisticated than Adobe’s Photoshop Elements), offering a variety of easy-to-learn editing and viewing tools. For most “point and shoot” photographers, this application has all of the features they need. The goal of this class is to teach students how to install the software, import, organize, edit, view, and share their photos. Pre-requisite: completion of Basic Computer Skills; intermediate skills would be very helpful.
Computer Software Maintenance
This class is not for beginners. We start with a brief explanation as to how a computer works and why we have to do housecleaning of the hard drive.
Intermediate Computer Skills in Korean
This class is taught in Korean and is designed for those who took the basic skills class and/or have some prior knowledge of computers. It is a continuation of the basic computer skills class taught in Sessions #1 and #4. Information (knowledge) will be presented followed by extensive hands-on (practice) sessions. More in-depth coverage of Windows XP (English and Korean) and software programs including some utilities programs will be covered. More features of email and Internet will also be included. The class enrollment is limited to 20 people. Those who are enrolled in Session #4 Basic Skills class will have the priority.
